We are currently working with an expanding, well-established group based in Attleborough who are recruiting an Assistant Management Accountant.
The successful person will preferably be a part qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA). It is essential you are a strong communicator with a high attention to detail.
You will report directly to the Management Accountant and will involve a close working relationship with external stakeholders.
Role Profile:
- Assist in the production of monthly management accounts packs for multiple trading entities to include KPI’s and variance analysis within agreed deadlines
- Review and close Cash Book, Sales and Purchase Ledgers
- Produce Monthly Balance Sheet Lead Schedules
- Detail any issues and report them to Senior Management
- Managing external relationships and expectations to ensure the effective communication of financial information
- Assist in the preparation of weekly reports for stakeholders and Head of Finance
- Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Assisting in preparation of year end audit files for the group
- Liaison with and assisting the Auditors
- Working closely with other members of the accounts team (purchase ledger, payroll, credit control)
Key skills:
- Some management accounts experience
- Proven communication and customer service skills
- Part qualified CIMA/ACCA or equivalent experience
- Able to manage expectations effectively
- IT literate with strong systems knowledge including Excel
- Methodical and high attention to detail
