Financial Controller Opportunity in Norwich
Our client, a leading organisation committed to excellence, is actively seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join their team. A thriving company based in Norwich, known for their innovation in their industry who value talent, dedication, and a forward-thinking approach to financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Oversight: Manage day-to-day financial operations, ensuring precision and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and present Opex and Capex budgets both internally and for the group. Provide insightful forecasts for well-informed decision-making.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure the quality and integrity of monthly reporting, encompassing P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash, Capex, and rolling forecasts.
- Compliance and Standards: Uphold the application of group standards and meet all deadlines related to financial activities.
- Deliver specific analysis on economic topics to facilitate decision-making.
- Operational: Collaborate with operational managers to define the economic impacts of the operational plan necessary for budget achievement.
- Team Development: Lead and nurture the finance team, fostering a productive and collaborative workspace.
Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification is essential
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication skills and ability to influence.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel. SAP desirable.
- Available to travel oversees.
