Our client, a successful business in Norwich is looking to appoint a dedicated accountant. This role is pivotal in managing the daily functions of the finance department. You will be responsible for overseeing the accurate maintenance of financial ledgers, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures, processing invoices and payments efficiently, and conducting regular reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the finance department.
- Ensure accurate control and upkeep of all financial ledgers.
- Follow and enforce established accounting procedures.
- Process invoices and payments promptly and efficiently.
- Regularly perform and verify all reconciliations.
You will ideally be a fully qualified accountant ACCA, CIMA with proven accounting experience, preferably in a fast moving commercial business.
