Immediate start for an Accounts Assistant. Supporting the Finance Manager in day-to-day running of finance including:-
- Maintenance of sales and purchase ledgers, banking transactions, accruals/pre-payments and journals.
- Processing of supplier payments and other bank transactions
- Processing of sales invoices and internal recharging
- Production of monthly aged debt reports and credit control.
- Cash handling and daily banking of monies received.
- Dealing with ad hoc accounting and reporting queries.
- Assist with annual budgets for all companies.
- Assist with quarterly and year end accounts and provide financial information
- Assist in the preparation of Vat returns.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly Accounts and Variance Reporting
Candidates will have previous experience in a busy accounting role. Strong IT skills including Excel. Able to work as part of a team, happy dealing directly with managers around the business. Initially the role will be on a temporary basis with a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
