Role Overview: As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in producing accounts to draft stage, and beyond. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, and corporate entities
- Handling Personal and Corporation Tax matters
- Liaising with clients and building relationships.
- Collaborating with the manager/partner, reporting on progress, and providing solutions to any issues
- Monitoring work progress against set budgets and flagging any concerns to the manager/partner
Your Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accounts and taxation matters for a diverse portfolio of general practice clients. Your duties will involve completing VAT returns, corporate accounts (including tax returns), and managing partnerships and sole trader accounts.
