This established, central Norwich based, organisation is seeking an experienced Credit Controller / Finance Assistant to be responsible for invoicing, debt collection and income recognition. Providing finance support to the finance manager responsibilities will include:
- To raise and distribute invoices for all areas of business
- To review customer accounts on a weekly basis
- Chase overdue debts within agreed time scales
- Raise credit notes where appropriate
- To reconcile bank accounts and ensure all income is correctly accounted for
- To provide timely resolution of invoice and account queries
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts for managers and the Board
- Provide commentary on invoicing and debt recovery
- Participate in the annual budget setting process
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements as required
Candidates will ideally be AAT part or fully qualified. Having experience of working in a busy finance department. Strong IT skills including Excel and Sage. Able to work as part of a team.
