A newly created role for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the busy accounts team of this growing company. The role will be varied and include:
- Ensuring accurate processing, recording and allocating various financial transactions
- Providing support to the finance team and dealing with finance issues
- Processing information on Sage, along with handling any queries;
- Assisting with the posting and allocation of transactions (Bank transfers and DD)
- Working closely with internal and external clients
- Providing cover for the team members during absence from work
Candidates will have proven skills and experience:-
- Previous experience of working in a similar role using Excel & Word.
- Experience of using SAGE ideal but not essential
- Strong numerical skills
- Strong planning and organisation skills, able to prioritise own work
- Solid communication. Multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail; Self-motivated and pro-active;
- Team player who is reliable and flexible
