Global company with a strong commitment to innovation and excellence is seeking a Finance Manager on a 6 month contract. You will work closely with the Accounts Assistant helping to bridge any knowledge gaps and help out with some bookkeeping duties.
Role Overview:
As a Finance Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising the financial functions of 3 entities. This is a hands-on position that requires a positive mindset, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the accounts assistant and other colleagues. This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days in the office (West Norfolk).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop cashflow forecasts, including considerations for FX contracts, interest accounts, and amendments to formats where applicable.
- Review and provide commentary on budgets.
- Amend the format of rolling forecasts as necessary to ensure accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Oversee individual bonus and commission structures to drive performance.
- Administer payroll processes for the UK, UAE, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of year-end accounts.
- Work closely with external accountants on matters related to company structures, intercompany transactions, and dividends.
- Prepare presentations for board meetings.
- Document meeting minutes and ensure timely dissemination to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified accountant or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Proven experience in a hands-on finance management role, preferably within a global or multi-site business
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting.
- Willingness to help with some bookkeeping duties.
