International business with UK head office situated in Diss, is looking to appoint a Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of various accounting systems and controls, including the maintenance of the general ledger and project costing records including preparation of journal entries, review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts. Other duties consist of keeping the company cashflow updated, collect cash in by contract on a weekly basis, draft cashflows for large projects as needed and reconcile the fixed asset register.
You will ideally be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with some experience working in an accountancy practice, who has strong technical experience. This is a key role supporting the Finance Director overseeing the finance for the UK business. Working in a small team you will hands on willing to get stuck in and do some of the basic accounting tasks as well as the more complex and interesting tasks.
