Our client, an established SME in the offshore industry which has seen recent growth, is looking to appoint a Financial Controller. This is a hands-on, key role within the business and will suit a qualified accountant with strong technical skills as well as project experience.
You will produce financial reports and develop strategies alongside senior management making important business decisions to ensure business growth in the long term. Responsible for all financial operations within the company including reconciliation of all company balance sheet items and preparation of annual accounts to audit stage, management of finance department including HR. You will also keep up to date with company’s financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement, explore methods for minimising financial risk to the company and research and analyse financial reports and market trends.
You will have a recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), have significant experience at manager level in a hands-on capacity and strong communication skills with the ability to drive through change. Systems implementation experience would be an advantage but not essential.
