A newly created role for a very successful business that has grown organically, and through acquisition, to be a brand name in their sector.
Having future succession planning in mind the Directors are seeking to appoint someone who will fulfil the role of Head of Finance and develop into Operations Management
The role will cover key areas of
- Managing a busy finance department in a sales focused environment
- Ensuring the company’s reputation for high quality customer services is maintained
- General staff management, either directly or through department managers.
- Make commercial decisions, backed by data and an understanding of the business goals.
Candidates will ideally be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified, or with strong experience, either from industry or an accountancy practice. Able to managing finance, and be a business partner to Senior Management. Experience within a sales focused industry e.g. manufacturing or logistics, would be useful. Having direct contact with suppliers and customers.
