Privately owned, well established and profitable business based in Thetford is looking to appoint an HR Manager. This is a key role focusing on a variety of HR and payroll related duties.
- Overseeing the smooth and efficient running of all aspects of the office.
- Dealing and advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Developing & improving existing HR procedures and processes.
- HR; document creation/ formatting, contract issuing and reviews
- Reviewing and restructuring company training processes
- Assisting in driving the business and employees forward through; training/ learning and development.
- Ensuring standards are adhered to regarding up to date compliance, procedures and documentation incl. handbooks/ contracts/ H&S/ general company policies.
- Processing starters, leavers, holiday entitlement, sick leave, health assessments, handling performance reviews.
- Monitoring sick and absence patterns
You will ideally be CIPFA qualified or actively studying, have significant HR experience (payroll an advantage but not essential) and looking for a challenging role where you can make a real difference to the employees within this successful company. You will have a highly credible presence with ability to build relationships, a high level of integrity, be a self-starter and hands on, pragmatic, down to earth approach.
