The Management Accountant will supervise an Accounts Assistant and support the Finance Director in all aspects of day-to-day financial management. Providing timely and accurate financial information to the Board of Directors and other senior management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Previous recent experience in an Assistant Accountant/Management Accountant role;
- CIMA/ACCA qualified or part qualified;
- Excellent IT skills including intermediate Excel (V-Lookups) and financial software packages
The role will be varied including
- Preparation of monthly financial statements, variance analysis and commentaries;
- Reporting and analysis of weekly cash position and providing a 13 week forecast;
- Banking – responsibility for day-to-day relationship and reconciliations
- Statutory Reporting VAT Returns, EC Sales lists & Intrastat returns
- Payroll and pension administration;
- Credit Control and maintenance of the sales ledger
- Maintenance of all Ledgers and Cash-books including reconciliation and queries;
- Carry out continuous reviews and implement improvements to existing systems
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
