Profitable manufacturing business based near Halesworth is seeking an Interim Operations Accountant asap. You will complete the daily performance on site, highlighting anomalies to the Financial Controller / Site Director in preparation for the daily meeting.
Key duties in more detail: Production of daily operational reports and KPI’s to strict deadlines, review information produced, investigating variances, ensuring accuracy, present, discuss and review operational results and their implications, ensure all necessary general ledger postings at the period end are carried out to timetable, responsible for explaining differences between daily and weekly reporting. With regards to budget forecasting you will update information for yields, labour costs, ingredient and packaging specifications for use within standard costs, budget and forecasts.
The client’s preference is for a qualified accountant with significant manufacturing experience. Initially this is an interim role for 4-6 months but ultimately a full-time permanent post.
