Personal Tax Assistant

One of the largest local firms of accountants and business advisors is seeking to add to the Personal Tax team. Initially the duties will be covering compliance, there will be opportunities to progress into advisory work.

The firm has an established and growing portfolio of clients including high net worth individuals and company directors. The role will include:

Assist in the preparation of tax returns
Drafting basic Capital Gains Tax computations for senior review
Preparing other HMRC forms for senior review, including tax elections, and amending PAYE tax codes
Liaise with HMRC and other professionals regarding client affairs
Manage and update the in-house database for client details
Maintain an up to date understanding of tax clients and the services the firm offers.

Candidates will be considered with varying levels of experience in tax or in accounts wanting to specialise in tax. The firm offers an excellent salary and flexible benefits, with full support for study of ATT / CTA.
