As part of the team delivering a new General Ledger system, and associated finance systems tools, the Senior Finance Manager needs strong technical accounting and project management experience.
Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, the role is based within the Financial Reporting team that deliver the statutory and regulatory returns for a large number of group entities. As the project progresses this role will have a broad range of responsibilities and deal with a number of contacts inside and outside the organisation.
Key areas will include:
- Supporting the delivery of change projects
- Identifying and monitoring progress
- Providing the Head of Financial Reporting with regular updates on progress
- Identifying and dealing with areas of risk
Candidates much be fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with experience of IFRS reporting. Happy working in a large complex organisation, able to balance the technical and operational aspects of the role. Able to support and drive delivery of a large project.
