IT Technician

Holt, Norfolk | £28,000–£32,000 | Full-Time

We’re recruiting an IT Technician for an organisation based in Holt, where you’ll support a wide range of hardware, software and network technologies. Alongside day-to-day IT support, you’ll be involved in maintaining equipment, implementing improvements and assisting with IT projects.

Working as part of a small, experienced IT team, you’ll provide hands-on technical support across a large and varied IT environment, helping users resolve issues and keeping systems and equipment running smoothly.

The Role

• Providing technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware, software and connectivity issues
• Managing support requests through the IT ticketing system, prioritising and resolving issues
• Installing, configuring and maintaining PCs, laptops, printers and other IT equipment
• Supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365 and network infrastructure
• Assisting with server administration, user accounts and system maintenance
• Supporting IT projects, upgrades and the introduction of new technologies
• Working closely with the wider IT team to maintain reliable systems and services

About You

You’ll have previous experience in an IT Technician, IT Support Technician or similar technical support role, with a good understanding of Windows systems, PC hardware and networking.

You’ll be confident diagnosing technical problems, managing competing priorities and explaining solutions clearly to users with different levels of IT knowledge.

Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server or virtualisation technologies would be useful, although we’re more interested in your practical technical knowledge and ability to solve problems.

You’ll also be organised, approachable and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
