An excellent opportunity to join one of the leading companies in the area. The Finance Assistant role is in an expanding team, at the head office in Diss. Supporting the Management Accounts Team with :
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and closure of financial ledgers
- Reconciling and posting monthly journals
- Preparing and posting accruals and prepayments, including rents, rates, utilities, company credit cards, rebates
- Reconciling nominal ledger accounts on a monthly basis
- Posting of all transactions relating to property costs & payroll
- Supporting preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
Candidates will have previous experience in a similar role and ideally be AAT qualified. Able to demonstrate Intermediate Excel skills; strong communication and good organisational skills.
